I dont know if i have a MS25 or MS28 (sticker with all the info was removed on drive by previous owner) when i boot up the flash drive and i do everything the ms25 way and it turns out to be ms28 am i gonna brick my system? or will it just tell me it cant do it and then just try ms28 way?

or if anyone knows a way to tell beside looking at info on the sticker on drive, that would prob be best way for me to do this :)

if your using via chipset with mtk/flash you can read the drive and then boot back in to windows and check the firm firmware you dumped using firmware toolbox to see if the key is ok and it will tell you what rom version it is ie/ ts-h943 toshiba samsung ms28
or if you already have a key then flash it as one or the other and if it don't work its the other
but it should have some firmware on though unless some has already dumped it
but i have done loads of sammy's and never bricked one
