hey there just recently bought a psp, n thought id see if i could
mod it to play iso's.

I didnt realise at first that this 2nd hand psp
I bought seems to have allready been modded. before realising that having m33 after your firmware means you have a custom firmware.

I followed larrylje's guide to make a magic memory stick, did all that fine, when it came to making the pandora battery it didnt seem to work, n then i read the guide more to realise you had to have custom firmware, which i didnt realise i had at the time. so i tried installing the m33 3.71 update ver 1.50 included in the magic memory stick files thinking, this would give me 1.50 firmware so i could then make a pandora battery. that still didnt work

So i watched some vids on youtube, to find out that i had allready got custom firmware. so i put some iso's in a folder named ISO on the root which i hear your sposed to do, and they show up as games in the menu, but when i try to boot them it just crashes and says (the game could not be started 80020321)

please dont tell me ive bricked my psp ive just bought and wont be able to sort it out

What firmware do you have?

Go to System Settings then System Info and tell us what it says under system software.

I don't know if this will help! What region is the ISO?

If your PSP is a US version and the game(ISO) is a EU game. Do the following.

1. Power off the system
2. Press and hold R
3. Go to configuration and click Fake region
4. Choice the right version

Other suggestions make sure UMD version is set to (M33 driver -NO UMD-)
P.S.

WHAT FIRMWARE ARE YOU ON?

Steps that we may give will be diffrent from custom firmware to custom firmware.

As well the fake region option should not matter for games. The fake region should be set for UMD/ISO movies not games.

Sorry, because it seemed to help at the time; when I had FIFA and it was a EU edition.

Good luck,
