Installing cfw on phat using slim

okay so here's my problem my friend has a slim that has cfw I have a phat with ofw (3.80 if it matters) so what I was planning to do was stick my phat battery in his slim and then convert that into a pandora then stick it back in mine to install the custom firmware. But now I have to problems

1. will sticking a phat battery in a slim damage it

2. I've heard you need to run a certain program to pandorize batterys on a slim what is this program

1. no it wont damage the slim.
2. you heard wrong. the process is still the same to pandorize batteries. where it differs are the files that go onto memory sticks. Most files provided are dual now though(work on both slim and phat)

Just google for "total newbi installer". I think theres even a thread on this forum with it.

Use this guide HERE to create the Magic memory Stick + Pandora Battery. It is perfectly safe to use your FAT battery in his PSP SLIM to convert (make sure you save the battery eeprom so you can convert it back to normal).
