thanks for your reply

But i have a STARVIEW THE BOX. the problem is on the remote conrol there are no buttons for the letter input. the NORMAL STARVIEW uses the coloured buttons for a,b,c,d etc. it is frustrating as i can change the numbers ok just can not find the buttons ( if any ) on the starview The box remote.

To enter keys on Star PVR go to Menu>system settings>parental control, now pres I then 2007 you will get CAS menu, enter codes in nagravision, if after pressing I + 2007 does work 1st time try again a little slower, the menus dont like quick fingur action.

Hope this helps

if you look on the number keys, there are letters, press them keys untill you get the desired letter (e.g 1 is also A,B & C)

HI Tsingh

here ya go

To put keys in manualy do as follows.

press menu
press 1570. this takes you into secret menu
Hit ok on nagravision
and change both keys 00, and key 01

Make sure your cable provider is listed at top NTL or TELEWEST C&W CHORUS ect you have to only input keys for your provider
To change between the 2 keys
highlight key number press right and left
When changed hit ok (To store) after each one..

(YOU MUST SAVE EACH KEY INDIVIDUALLY - I.E. AFTER CHANGING KEY 00 MAKE SURE
YOU STORE BEFORE CHANGING KEY 01 (TO STORE PRESS OK)after this make sure your emu is turned on then go to a paid channel and should update

HI

yes the box PVR, will record one and record another. Make sure the cables are connected correctly.

I have heard that the BOX SUPER is a better box. I am not happy with the EPG on mine. and waiting on a firmware to fix this.

I am sure it will work in your area but make sure by asking your supplier.

:)

Starview The box PVR, has a dual tuner so it is fine for what you are watching, and if you are cable digital, and I'm pretty sure you are, then yes again, as regards the EPG, it has never been the bee's knee's on the Starview range.

Why don't you just update your box with the latest fix, then you would not need to ask for anything like that.
