Interesting read. God help Afterdawn if this is the start of new tactics by the Cable Companies, i'd have to hand in my Afterdawn Gun and Badge as it'd become unbearable here.

So looking at all this will the box users have to put codes in daily or will there be a update which will sort this because i have read this topic and unsure what will happen.

Ano i kinda think that they might not be able to pull it off anymore as all the cable company's are finding out and if they are changing the codes daily i just really dont see how they are going to pull it off :(.

so how come my mates who have flashed original virgin boxes with cards are still viewing all channels and only the euro starview etc boxes have gone off

these boxes are not aloud.. so whats stopping them lookin up were we live and fine us for this? we all no its not aloud..
allso if kryptview have fixed wont this be easy for starview to be?

haha that message was put out last time the codes changed, i copy and pasted that message back in april so people could read it, nothing will stop our boxes :)

I've just been talking to a man in the know and he has told me that VM cannot keep rolling the c***s as it is costing them too much money! Each time they do this they are blowing some of there own boxes up. They cannot keep doing it because people will get fed and switch to a more reliable provider, and they will not run that risk for too long so we will all just have to be patient!

Folks
if by some tragedy of the god no solution can be find to the current ahem "problems" everyone is encountering. If we have to go lgeal and get a Kosher box with a basic package.. will the "other box" be able to auto update then?
Sorry if im tlaking in riddle but those of you with a brain will know why.

I've been thinking of getting Sky anyway. Virgin compress their feed more than other providers and the picture quality is crap.
How long does it usually take for a fix to be released?
