Everytime its done there has always been a fix.
Unless they physically disconnect your Wire feed then they aint going to succeed. Its too expensive for them to keep changing the codes, frying their own systems!

Well i don't think vm are going to do a code change every day but if my kryptview goes off tomorrow then i'll worry.
most of these things are the same, you work round it then they bring something else out to stop you and you work round that.

There is too much panic going on here. Everyone just needs to bide there time.
There is nothing wrong with the boxes and VM aint found a way to screw up all boxes. This has all happened in the past and will no doubt happen again.
Codes are always changed on daily basis sometimes twice a day. Has been happening for years. The only difference this time around is they changed the way these codes are encrypted. It takes time for the people in the know to learn this decryption and write new firmware to decipher this.
Once the firmware is created, it will then adapt and update to any code changes VM can through at it. Unless of course they change the way they encrypt the codes again. As said before, they could do this but it would cost them way too much.

I don't know if I should be worried or slightly smug, but my box is absolutely fine here in the S.E of England. Just watched Premiership Preview on SP1 and now watching the simpsons on S*Y 1.
Anyone else up and running?

No its not true, not sure about the raid, but there will always be people and programmers out there who know what they are doing, not all the updates and versions are actually made by the manufactures + just because they have been busted for selling illegal goods, they can still be making updates and programs.

Cant see this happening to be honest.
There is nothing illegal about these actual boxes. They can be sold and created leagally. They can be used leagally too, as long as you just stick the the freeview channels and pay your TV license.
These boxes only become illegal when you actually use them to steal cabel TV.
But these are thosands of programmers out there with the ability to create firmware. They dont have to be officialy working for the box company.
