hi kids went to LOCKSMITH he is gr8 ALL ON (and i'm 53 yrs old) took me 2 days.. 2 fig the lads out reed in betwen lines thx u GUN & CO

It's not cr4p... If you have the patience to go through this website, you will find clear instructions on how to update the c*des. There are also websites where you will find the codes...
By jumping the thread and expected to be spoonfed with the instructions and c*des is pure cheek!!
We all had to learn - I suggest you do the same or wait for the updated firmware.
Couldn't have put it better myself. That's how I and many others found the codes. Read the older forums it's all there.

Answer is Patience.
A huge problem solving to the goog ppl behind giving these FREE codes/updates/firmware. This thing happened b4 and rectified. With out a doubt it will be again.

You people should be aware that the posting of emails is not allowed on the forum at all, and besides that you could be in for a nasty shock from spammers and also be inundated with offers of viagra and stuff, if you take my jist, so you would be wise to edit your post's.
Just a gentle reminder, and when a fix is available - it will be made very clear on the forum.

oops! VM just rolled again bang on 2.30pm. They are either working overtime or have it set up on a timer. Waitng now out of interest to see how long it takes the guy's to update the codes on the net????

Its just like the last time and the time before that! I have had the box for 4 years now and its always people panicing when this happens! It actually quite funny to watch (I am not a sadist ofcourse).
The fact is for them (VM) to change their technology they will hve to spend a furtune so I assure you this wil be temporary and thing will go back to normal.. las time I remember is took about 2 weeks I think...
Right now my only worry is if the damn thing starts updating key in the middle of the mancunian derby tomorrow! It happened today at around 2pm and the "C" word for today has only just come up on the "C" word generator!!

So things aren't getting any better then! The list of dvb threads takes up nearly the full page on the AD list of updated threads!
I see people aren't deleting their email addresses. You do know the cable companies read the posts on AD, don't you?

now i hope this post is aloud.. but i dont like to see people who cant get there tv like i couldent last night..
now this is only a quick fix you may have to edit these codes 2 times a day intill a fix comes..

And that's the newly opened one's eva. the amount of good threads that have been closed and posters banned due to people not taking advice has been ridiculous and a shame, and they still will not listen!!!

Again well said. Everything in business revolves around cost and profit. VM have to buy the TV off S*y and sell it on to Joe Public as part of a package. They make their profits from the telephone and Broadband part of the package. Therefore logic dictates that if VM want to remain competitive with their rivals they must sell the TV on with very little mark up. Therefore they cant afford to spend massive amounts of money on security.
