Well, i got this xbox 360 manufacturing date is 2005 its a pro version of the system. Its acting weird, the laser is cleaned, but like 50% of the time it go to a white screen saying to put it in the xbox 360. The system dont dectect the game and thinks its a movie, this is the same for all of the games i tried. Is it a laser issue? Should i keep this xbox or should i just get a new one. I have no idea if this is hacked before but i went on live today so if its hacked i should be banned from live soon. And I didnt attempt tpo hack this, and im running original games
Edit: i think it works better without the harddrive, im gonna do some testing.
yeah, if its doing that with the retail games then it's the laser.
you can buy brand new Drive on ebay for 35-40 and just swap the DVD drive board old to new Drive. it's very simple task and it should read all your games no prob.
not to get confuse, I would put current drive on my right and new drive on my Left. open both of them up, take the both board out and install current board to New drive and stick that drive in to 360. and done.
