hello friends , i was just runnig a light mod on my psp slim. suddenly sound stop working, but headphones are still working. whats the problem . is the fuse blown up if yes then where`s the fuse. help me friends , thanks in adveace.
hey man , i have fixed the speakers , they are now working, but my backlight has gone , its not working , i have checked the fuse , its alright but backlight is not working. is it linked with optical system , because i have removed it from psp , help me please , thanks in advance bro.
Anyways, have you tried testing your screen on another slim? I would suggest doing that. If it works then you know for certain its the fuse in which case you can just bridge the fuse.
If it doesnt work, well i dont know what to say except to either...
1. Purchase a new backlight
2. Make your own backlight by hooking up 4 white 0603 smd led's to each side of the LCD
Double check your latches though to make sure your ribbons are connected in them properly.
