Tesco game rental service beware.

Can anyone recommend a good game rental service (uk). also I'd like to caution the good folk of the forums.
Yesterday I was looking round and came across tesco rentals I thought oh well its a big name they should be trustworthy and with the lure of a free 14 day trial.
after signing up and taking ages selecting games, it then turns out that I have to choose a more expensive rental package in order to rent games even thought I had chosen what I thought was the most inclusive rental package I was then prompted to upgrade to what seemed a similar priced rental package, then I read in small font once a customer upgrades the 14 day free trial immediately comes to a end and charges apply I promptly canceled my account I read something about a charge to my credit card.

I may have to pay for something that I believe i'd had been mislead into signing. what a complete waste of time it's the likes of unregulated underhanded business practices that's got us all in the *hit they appear to just make their own laws,
anyways I was wondering if anyone else had experienced similar with tesco rentals, I guess I might have wait until my local blockbusters get the latest titles in for rental its £6 a throw but tesco antics has put me off the online merchants.
