Need Help Swapping A Non Flashable Liteon With A Flashable Hl Gdr-3120

I received a liteon drive 360 back from M$. I love the machine becasue its one that should not have problems with RROD . But the Liteone drive cannot be written to. I do have any extra HL HL GDR-3120L from an old RROD machine that M$ did not fix for me. What I am trying to figure out how to do is I guess forst off How to Dump the liteon drive to get the Key. Then just wanting to verify that all I have to do when flashing the old drive is take the FW from the HL drive that I have backed up from when I hacked it and then change the key in the FW and then flash the drive again...so do I need to take the drive back to original firmware before flashing it again? Or can I just change the key and flash? Any help would be greatly appritiated. The only thing I am a bit confused about is Can I dump the key from the liteon and how?

you have to return the hitachi to the original then insert the liteon key in to the original. then open ixtreme 1.4, then spoof as a liteon using the inquiry.bin, then flash it.(just use 360 fw toolbox, if you do something wrong it will typically give you a warning before allowing you to brick your drive) Getting the key and inquiry is pretty simple using some aftermarket hardware. I use a team xecuter CK3 pro or a maximus 360 extractor. Some minor soldering is needed when using the CK3pro. You have to enable the tx function of the drive by bridging a small part of the liteon board. You also need some windford port i/o drivers.
