Latest fix for the Box Super Starview 3 is now in Eamos with thanks to its author. Please do not ask me about other boxes, I have no news as of yet.

I won't close this one, i'll now unsubscribe as it all means bugger all to me, Des please give me a shout if this one gets hijacked and i'll slap any offenders upside the head.
As there's now a trickle of fixes coming thru i'll be glad to start reopening the main threads soon and shall look forward to being able to revisit the other 674 forums again :)

yeah its only the UK that was affected, and once you have the correct cables (Null Modem) you download the firmware and that should be you!!

Long may it last over there, and the NULL MODEM lead job will make a change ;) must agree with Des's comment above, now that would be nice, I don't use a flaming Super by the way, SV 1/2/Evs no super!!! ahh well keep plodding.

Ok im not being stupid or n e thing but i reflashed my starview 3 box with the new fw well suppose tobe it comes up june2008 thought hmmm ok so i flashed the box anyways done the useual 1570 turn emu on scanned for channels and still i get on all the other encrypted channels updateing pleas wait and it just does that non stop am i missing something or has the wrong fw been posten on emos with todays date on it .. v8.00e is in todays dat folder :s

No, its the correct firmware in eamos, todays date is on it.
EDIT, did you turn your EMU on & set default key?
