Yea it updates goes to 100% then restarts again and again and again does it on sky sports and other encrypted channels and yes i have emu on.... this is what im on about the fw loader its got June2008 date on it like the other fw i used b4 virgin took the boxes down has anyone got there starview 3 boxes working as yet ???? what am i doing wrong ???

Set the default key in the CAS menu & exit to s*y sports & let it update.

You are quick to find fault but slow to show any gratitude, and you will be back when you want something else, so you should show a little restraint, anyone can make a little mistake, especially when everyone is clamouring for a fix, hold my bleeding hand why I do it, don't why the we bother sometimes.

nope ive done everything u suggested i might reflash it again and retry but im not holding any hopes out atm as no-one else has confirmed it is actualy working..... will post back in 5-10 mins

I've got exactly the same problem as dave.
I've updated it to 30/11/2008 firmware, did a factory reset, default cas and turned key emu on but all that happens is it keeps trying to update when i leave it on sky sports...reaches 100% and starts again or keeps goin..

Go up one channel, & see if it kicks in.

That is the firmware that has been moddified to A/U - did you get the one with todays date on the file/folder/.

yes it has todays date on it. I got the link from this forum, but i'm not sure sure if I should update or not as it looks like 1 or 2 plp r still having.
Do you think it might be best to hold fire and see what happens, or go 4 it

Thats what this ne fw is saying on my box after i loaded booted scanned ect same fw version the lot all lock stock and barrel so i aint got a clue guess im watching bbc 1 all day again

Hi,
I have the same problem updated the f/w before it was going "data is being updated xx% now it is stuck at 0%. Any help would be much appreciated. Big game about to start ;-(
