sorry Liam on what MAIN MENU???????
i have my digi box connected to my pc, i cant see any main menu. I followed the instructions from http://www.freewebs.com/boxsuper/
but the flash failed.
unless anyone has any other idea why the flash is failing. I thought it was straight forward but obviously not

The file works as it was tested before release. I can have it uploaded to Eamos again. I have also got it verified again, (10 minutes ago), from different parts of the UK.
Nothing goes into Eamos unless it works.

i take you have tryed deleting it and rescaning it? i had the same prob with fiver but it came back

Have you definately got a clone Starview The Box Super? if so how do you know it is a clone? The fix is only for SV3 Super.

un connect from your pc go into your menu on the box its self reset factory settings pass code is 0000 . switch box back on stand by flash it with the link i gave u b4 should all be working switch emu on,

saccos fw is still working sweet got all channels well the ones i watch aint checked all the sports channels yet as sport sux but thanks again for the work

Hi malci, i went on http://www.freewebs.com/svclones/ and my box is not the one that is circled. so is defo not a clone one.
I also have the original box. The box super and in the right hand corner is says STAR VIEW 3

Go to the link marked Starview at the bottom of my post 2nd line, and you will find a guide there, if you want a graphical guide of what you need to do the job, then click the Eurovox link, same procedure - different box's.

Senior member can you answer a few questions for me?
the f/w that scoOus has put on is fisrtly dated July 08 why is this?
and secondly the f/w keeps updating and i can not manage to get it to work?!!!
now the 8.02e that has been uploaded is not verified by you guys but its ROCKING ( Im buzzin ) v/m bring it on you want a war bring it.
can you guys shed sum light to these small questions that i and other have as my box is fine with 8.02e

Liam you say "un connect from your pc go into your menu on the box its self",
does that mean the i need the box connect to the telly cause how else can i see the main menu from the PC. I'm not bery good at these type of things

Then as long as you are OK then that is fine, all we do is advise, because it is still the same firmware. And yes I have had a look at the 8.02 but at the moment I can not comment on that, we on the forum use our tried and tested/trusted firmware, from a trusted source. Tried and tested the firmware 8.02 from Eamo's and it is working fine, well done scOuser and the regular you know brilliant job, and the SV4 fix is there now as well.

Malci I have had the firmware upped again to Eamos but it worked as I had it verified. If people want a name that they are happy with regards firmware revision well its there :)

quite fun mate i don't think so,myself and the rest of the lads are here to help on our own time and with no recompense,if sc0ucer comes long and say's there is a fix well then there is a fix, because believe me this bloke has basically held this forum together on his own for the last few years,and dosn't just pop in and out when the problems of the last few day's come around unlike some of the so called experts that have arrived back over the last few day's(you no yourselves who i'm refering to)so if your not happy with the help you get in here then my advice is
