Malci that what i was doing intitially however the tut states that line that confused me?
I have so far connected to the box 3 and clicked app file only then clicked download button on the bottom left on the file it is now downloading to the sv3.
I have done this before however once I have put the sofyware on the sv3 and plug it up what steps do i nee to get it working as i have tried previous methods and to no avail?
when i auto scan it shows DVB-C (only)28 channels to scan as the info but when it goes to find the channels every single one fails and i have no picture at all not even normal 1-5 channels

Are you sure the coaxial is in "cable input" at the back of the b0x?
EDIT - Are you using a splitter?

Yes a splitter would affect the scan, remove it & scan, also make sure the coaxial is secuely in "cable input" on the b0x.

Hi
I have been trying to flash the new file, but getting error. I have original box. I open the file and click on download but then get the error message flash update failed. I am using the following cable, please let me know if this can be used:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=97737&DOY=1m11
I did a factory reset, then put the box on standby and then tried flashing, but got the error message. Will appreciate help.

Hi but how do you use this fix? Is it not just an uploader, or does it have the firmware aswell????
Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks

it's a ufl, which means unified firmware loader so download to your desktop, connect your box up to your pc and press download on the loader, and fingers crossed you'll be ok.
