i thought they had the disc jitter already worked out.
thats why it's an update to 1.5 covers everything better,but as they say...it's dependant on what discs people put in to go on XBL that may get them the ban hammer,we all check our discs with mulleter and agbx and people are still getting banned.

yea... i'd like to see the number of people who have gotten banned that have ONLY played games that they have checked. everyone says they do but 'saying' on the internet doesn't hold alot of weight.

bad news the release date aint till christmass eve :( (hopefully that is subject to change and not c4eva waiting so it can be a crimbo gift(im a spoofed liteon drive user and every day i use my 360 with 1.4 is another day i could be banned :( ))
no disrespect ment to c4eva (still think the guy deserves a medal)

the problem i see is microsoft will now know they have untill dec 24th to detect all spoofed drives (we know were detectable but they aint looking at mo) lets face it they know they will lose the abilitie to detect spoofed drives on the 24th so they would be stupid not to search now
guess its no live till 24th lol :(

People have no grounds to whine and beg for an earlier release. The "team" is being kind enough to release it before X-mas as a gift when they have no responsibility to release it at all. Show some patience people and appreciate that it is actually coming, when a few weeks ago there was no 1.5 or lite-on fw in sight!

Wow. Lots of excitement happening here. I just purchased my Xecuter CK3 Probe (pre-order) in anticipation of the 1.5 release.
I found the comment that Liteon put special challenge cmd for MS. I mean, it's logical. If you knew people were hacking your drives and LiteOn wanted to make a drive for you, you would add it in the spec, too.

I'm not really sure if that would help. If MS tried to run the command already, and your drive was unable to perform it, then you might already be flagged. But I guess you might as well atleast try to protect yourself from now until its release.

Also, I'm sorry, but I really hope people aren't believing what this guy says. Again, everything he's posted is all publically available. Like saying it's been tested with one game? Assassin's Creed. How can anyone know this? It's all on the log of the #fw channel for anyone to be able to read.
It's just a warning. Please take his statements that were "directed to him from the team" with a grain of salt, as they were publically available from a website.

Back on topic:
I don't really care about bans because I'm not going XBL.
But if I use the 1.5 FW and have a backup of the original will I be able to revert to it?
If I reverse, will it leave the Xbox like new? Or will the efuse thing not allow it? And will M$, theoretically, be able to now I modded my Xbox?
