Latest Digivox & Digivox XL Firmware

Thank you for your suggestion Daylitex.
Here in Ireland we have not been hit like the UK.
The codes have not changed here for some time so The new SW Ver 4200 is for the UK only and Ver 4000 should still work in Dublin.
This is to the best of my knowledge. Anyone know anything?

Oh right I actually thought you had been hit just the same as we have in england, is anyone else you know over there using digivox without any probs?

hi i put the digivox fix on my box followed all instructions but my channels are still coming up scrambled key emu is on any suggestions

guys what software should we be using on the digivox xl in ireland?
mine is taking forever to update, like 60 mins of changing channels before it starts to update
20, 30 or 40?

FEEDBACK Digivox in Dublin
As an update to my problem in Dublin yesterday (see posts before).
No update was happening depite all my attempts ? so ? I manually entered
the.. ?? (rhymes with nodes) and all is OK. Doesn?t make sense but hey!
it works.

you shouldn't have to update the codes manually unless you have fta firmware on the box.

Hi eurov,
I am using SW Ver 4200. which up to now was OK. For some reason ??
it no longer auto updates after a Scan , EMU On etc as normal.
I have tried Loading Default c**** and so on but updating stays at 0%.
This fix will do me for now - who knows what the future holds.

update in irl is a bit slow on some boxes stuck on the 0% updating even with the latest firmware digivox v2.800 or v.4.00 and xl with v.1220.everybody is in a hurry to update,factory reset but to no avail. with a weaker signal boxes find it harder to update so stuck on 0%,usual tricks are set default key-menu-system info-ok1004-set default key and exit out,powering off box at back/on,or changing channels.if it is going to update it will move in 15 secs,if not try another channel,u might be lucky and find the channel early so as not to go thru all ur channels.

Hi there guys ive flashed a digivox xl with the latest software via loader 10 /null moden cable and it worked for 1 day but now channels are saying bad or scrambled channel should i reflash it emu is on any ideas why this would happen .cheers

It wouldn't do any harm to do a factory reset/reflash/auto scan then turn on your emu again, I use a digivox and mine is ok, it can't do any harm as its not working now. hope this helps.

I im in tw area box was downbefore i flashed it, after flash and reboot it came on and worked I flashed it with the latest flash from emos library digivoxxl_v1240_api of all the boxes it had to be my brothers ill never hear the end of it lmao

I am trying to load on the new firmware for the digivox xl, but unfortunately I cannot get it unzipped using winrar. I think it might be the settings on my pc. All I need is the fix file, and then hopefully, I'm away.
Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated.

I have tried winrar and winzip and the application won't extract to my hdd. If anyone could pm me the most up to date digivox xl firmware that would be brilliant.

Hiya, I'm extremely new to all this and having a bit of trouble i hope someone can help me.
I have silver digivox and all channels scrambled i used to just delete the channels do a new scan turn on the emu and it worked but thats not working now. I've downloaded the fix suggested but couldn't open it as it appeared blank, so tried with adobe and now every time i unzip its unzipping in adobe needless to say it wont work. Can anyone help me i've read the tutorial but even wen i try and drag onto a cd its not working.Is there anyway or programme i can use to opening this programme on laptop then doing flash without the use of burning cds. I probably need the idiots guide lol but it would be much appreciated as i'm fed up payin some guy everytime the box needs flashed.If anyone could send me the fix just ask for my e mail and i will be more than grateful.

You need winrar to open it, that can also be found in Eamos or google :)

This is really doing my head in thanks sCouser for getting back to me got the files extracted but dunno wit one to use, all are either jpeg photos or html docs the ones with shockflash has nothing next to them, outside the folder the file digivox_etc which is a .bin file wont open cause it says the archive is either in unknown format or damaged.In the tutorial it says look for "downloader 10" which is nowhere th be found. AAAARGH.
I know this is asking alot but if anyone has the files all complete and working could you e mail them to me in a file or give me a step by step how to work this out.
