sorry cactikid yes all connections ok as i have 2 boxes side by side
1 is aok the other 1 no out put to tv so i cant even see a menu to do afactory reset it has me head warped

if u put scart in vcr socket can u view thru vcr,or try using red/white/yellow video to see if u get picture.if nothing reflash with a previous firmware to check.

sorted i connected to tv wit video leads got menu on done fact reset now it picks up scart all ok thanks for all ur help

Please can someone help me a dont know whether am doin something so simple wrong its unbelievable...i follwed the instructions you have all been kind enough to display but after turning my silver digibox and pc back on i go into downloader 10..app..com1..browse..enter the bin file suggested then click download, but the progress bar never moves and the comes up flash failed try again?? has this happened to anyone else can anyone help me please would be much appreciated.

Hi wen i press download on loader the progress bar doesnt move, does anyone know wats wrong??
I hope someone can help, am i unzipping the file wrong?, is it downloader?

I flashed a digivox about 2 hours ago using downloader 10 and firmware 4.200, I'm in dublin and it worked no probs, box should be connected to pc with the box in standby, open loader 10 and as you said browse for bin file which in my case was 4.200 and hit download, the com I was using was 1, hope it helps. Also have you ever used your cable for flashing a box before, are you sure its a null modem rs232 cable and not just an rs232 cable?

the digivox xl has a new tuner in box so old firmware will not work u need v1341,the manufacturers did not say new firmware was needed it got overlooked lol

hi cactikid long time didnt talk, please help me if u know how to fix digivox xl favorite channels, cos it does automatically, i removed all favorite channel, and did it my self but its all mess up for example i want bbc to be in news section but it jump to document favorite even i stored as news favorite, also when i turn the box off and turned on it will lose all my work i have saved, otherwise its the best cable box available, thanks in advance.

all i know is when u do a fresh scan,and emu to on,and exit out let it update,power off with red button/on it relocates into correct place,dont think anything else to try.

hi every cactikid appriciate it if 1 would be able to help me, i have digivox xl get 140 channels and my friend havre same 1 but he has 130 channels, he missing descovery +1, discovery science and some other i looked at discovery science on my box frequency was 394.250MHZ symbole rate 6.887 then i put these infi in my friend's box but found 0 channels, i tried 314,00 and 444,000 still nothing, do u have any idea how to fix this problem specially both box are installed same firmware, also i deleted all channels and scan it again but no luck, also i i installed different firmware then installed the right 1 but its same. only 130 channels. thanks in advance, i'v asked u cos u r an expert of digivox.

bad signal it happens with dont use with splitters or extensions as these can give u problems,or try scanning at a different time,factory
reset,power off at back for 30secs/on and retry again.
v1240 for uk or v1250 for irl

thanks alot for ur help, but i tried both of boxes in my place same cable his 1 get only 130 channels, min get 140, but thanks alot appriciate your help.

thanks alot man. u r the man fixed problem as u said i was using extentioner so i have now 140 channels but some still bad signal but its ok cos its general everywhere bad signal. thanks again for ur help Cactikid.

Manual scan and enable the network and set the mhz at 115000

hi guys, since last night i h dnt have sky movie channels(drama,action, premier,...) also dnt have setanta sport channels, any 1 have similer problem, also i have digivox-xl wd firmware 1341 all channels was working but now not also have eurovox have dark v2.1 have same channels and same problem all channel i mentioned i can not get them in eurovox aswel, also i can not download firmware to my eurovox but digivox no problem for downloading firmware but dnt have sport and movie channels, im gussing in few weeks the firmware will not work and have to wait if there will be new firmware or not, am i right?

the firmware is working but it is the change of encryption all boxes cant handle.
