I recently had problems with the css encription, once I entered a dvd which was css encoded all the other ones were also css encoded, to remove this I found "AnyDVD" and its removed it.

Thought someone might need the info

play the film in power dvd for 5 mins to unlock the drive! then rip that sucker! all done!

Even just until the movie starts to play, ie past menus will usually do the trick...
