Fat PSP 5.01 OFW to CFW

I have a fat psp with 5.01 ofw and I want to get the best available cfw. I have just bought a 4gb memory stick off of ebay and a new battery. I would like to turn the battery I have now into a pandora battery to hack my psp. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Sorry, I found the thread. But what is the best cfw to date? I want to be able to play games from my memory stick since my umd drive is broken and I don't want to replace it.

Next time hit the edit button and add to your posts rather than quadruple posting.

Anyways, you can use a fake mem stick but its not recommended make sure the stick is between 128mb and 2gb as well.

As for the battery is it a slim battery or a phat battery? theres loads of guides floating around the net and a few guides on afterdawn for this procedure as well. Just make sure you follow the one for your battery.

How come you can't use a 4gb memory stick to install cfw? And can you make it a normal memory stick again after you install cfw? And can you install cfw using only a 32 mb memory stick? Thanks.

How come you can't use a 4gb memory stick to install cfw?

Don't know why, but it just won't work. It's 128MB to 2GB Memory Sticks to create a Pandora.

Some 4GB MS work perfectly fine. it is just recommended to use a 1GB or smaller.
