I WAS HACKING MY FRIEND'S SLIM PSP
EVERYTHING WENT GOOD UNTILL I TURN ON THE PSP
WHEN IT GOES ON IT FREZZEZS AT THE HOME PAGE
YOU CANT SEE THE ICONS JUST THE DATE AND TIME
I DOWNGRADED IT FROM 3.71 M33 TO JUST 3.71 BUT THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS PLZ HELP

Did you use your PSP to create the Magic Memory Stick?

If you did do you have a custom theme installed on your PSP?

If you do you will need to revert back to the default theme then recreate the Magic Memory stick.

OR you can go HERE and follow this guide (Magic Memory Stick section) and use that to install the 3.71 M33-2 firmware to the PSP.

i missed one thing when the psp turns on it frezzez so if i was to format flash1 and reset setting will that help
because i cant even get into the theme settings

Your not getting what I am laying down.

How did you create the Magic Memory Stick?

If you used another PSP that had a custom firmware installed on it the PSP will create a Magic Memory Stick that will install a semi-bricked firmware to the PSP (only date and time will come up).

So use the same custom firmware PSP that you originally used when creating the Magic Memory Stick but before recreating the Magic Memory Stick make sure the PSP is set to the default theme.

if you're using vista, then that's one problem. if the psp that made the MMS has a custom theme, like larrylje said, that's also a problem.
