OK its back up but please read the readme and guide contained. This is especially for people who are using pre 4.54 firmware. Do Not Use On A Clone Box.
All thats needed is in Eamos. Thanks once more to the author.

hi im a newbie 2 starview2 so the firmware is out ive been reading shud i check if its a clone and can u tell me is there guides how 2 do it its not mine u see me dads can u use nullmodem cable let me no cheers

just downloaded the software n tried flashin the box but on the front its just sayin "On" and not changin from that. its definitely a genuine sv2 box, any reason why this would be happenin? any help would be appreciated!

Hi all
i have downloaded and tried to put this new fix for sv2 onto the box and all i get is lights saying ON. is this fix not working or do i need to download other software/firmware first?????

Youre guessing wrong as it was tested. What it does NOT work on is a clone box.

323 people have downloaded it from Eamos and they are OK so far. The only ones I have seen with this problem has been clone boxes. Have you tried a reflash or reverting back to previous firmware?

for all those who were having a problem with getting the fix onto starview 2 the box goto this thread ( starview updating firmware - no code begging here)
here it tells you what to try . i got mine working by switching off the box then starting download then switching box back on

Hi, Am i correct in thinking the "Box" is different to the "Box PVR" and therfore, the fix for the box won't work on the Box PVR? If this is the case is there a short term manual fix for this and if so what exactly am i searching for?
