hi ppl i havent got starview2 but family an m8s have so how do i tell if its a clone or not cos i wanna try and flash thers u see and is there a tutorial how 2 flash anfd guides on how 2 spot a clone cheers ppl

Hi there updated my box witch is the box with the fix and my box is now stuck on with the letters on tried re flashing downloaded ok but still stuck on and tried going back to old software 451 and and it is still stuck on eny help much appreciated

Right I am going to pull this one as there are too many problems. It was tested before release but too many people having problems.
My apologies but I have been told that they are looking at it. You can revert back to your previous version and this has caused no damage to your box. As said my apologies.
Des if you see this could you take it down please, the file has gone from Eamos.

hi there sc0user i'm coming up as a newbie but i have followed this site for a year or so i know what i am doing roughly.Like i said i have put the new fix on the box and it is stuck on "on" you can go to stand by and i have tried going back to my old software which is 451eE and its still stuck.I hope this hasnt bricked my box.Any help please please please!!!

HI All,
I am also having problems with my box after uploading the new firmware from Eamo's library. I have previously used firmware from The Box directory and never any problems... After the upload box just says "ON" (LCD display) My Box is a Starview 2 (The BOX) - I was for sure this wasn't a clone.. Any ideas would be appreciated???.. Cheers, Marty

Do I really need to put 4.51e back on? I have 4.54e on mine. I downloaded the fix earlier but haven't tried to put it on yet and now I'm worried whether to try or not.

Hi KMCL, I tried the 4.54e and got the same, "ON".. So i had to relate back to 451... Freeview is better that nothing eh!?.. Lets hope its sorted soon... patience is a virtue!..lol

Hey Johnny, Try Eamos FTA library (LInk on the page, look for HAIL HAIL!) I believe its in there. Make sure you its for THE BOX before uploading!

cheers belf, gettin the file but not 100% sure how to load it. then i click to open file theres nout in the main box, so how do i load it onto my box from pc! frustrating as hell here.

people....beware,the new updated fix is faulty...doesnt work,but will fxxk up your computer and your box!!! best leave it till someone fixes it!!..
