Hello,

I have been trying different methods to back up my DVDs but I have failed so far...

As I have a G4 with super drive and toast 5, I though I could use 'DVD backup'. However, the application does not load. I have read somewhere that this application works only in OSX.3 and I've got OSX.2... is that right?

Next I tried DVD extractor 0.9 as suggested somewhere in this forum. When I 'save image...' a box says 'not enough space on this volume to complete this operation'. The DVD is about 4.3 Gb and I have 50 Gb free in one partition and 37 Gb in the other...Not enough space??!!!!

Then I decided to rip the DVD on my pc (win xp) and then burn it with the mac via ethernet. I used DVD decrypter (ISO file) and Smart ripper, but I dont know exactly what I'm doing, and Ive lost a couple of DVD-Rs already... Any suggestions?

Thank you.
