So I softmodded my Xbox with SID4.0.nKnave I chose to use the Evolution X as my Dash. I tried to install Xsnesx and its not showing up on my dash. I installed it on the E: drive. I checked it does have an Defualt.xbe file. I also Made Sure I extracted all my Snes Roms to the roms folder. not sure what else I should be doing or what I am missing. Any insight? I checked the forums I couldn't find an answer I see people saying to make sure I have an defualt.xbe file which I do so not sure what else to do?
Thanks ahead of time for the info

Sup,
After a while I got frustrated and installed Unleashx and while I was messing around with it. I came across the file explorer and found the default.xbe files and it worked! So from there I did some research on the forums and learned how to set the file paths to show up in the menus and how to rename the Xbe files.
WOOT!

Awesome...glad someone is using the search button.

Open any of these files with notepad, press ctrl+F and it will bring up a find prompt. Type in "emulators" and it will bring you to the code listed above.

I'm sure it's covered more than enough on this site so i'm glad you found it... Just wait till you start trying to get all the n64 games to show up in surreal. I spent maybe 14 hours straight working out this issue. I've answered that question maybe 5 times, search for it and see if you can find it.

I've convieniently included a search button in my signature...aren't i nice?

Cool. Good answer!

I'm going to be trying this if I can fix the Error #16. My poor Nephews are dying without their game system, and I'm stumped =)

Wow I was just doing some reading and Avalaunch looks kick ass. I thought the RSS feeds, Title images, being able to rename .xbe files from dash, Quick start options and being able to download skins and game saves right from the dash all sound freakin cool!
what do you guys think of Avalaunch?

I've used avalaunch on over 70 xbox's. It has a simple gui and it's easy to make skins for once you have a template designed. I usually don't have to explain how to use it either. It makes it a bit easier but every now and then i have questions. Avalaunches boost mode helps transfering games with the file manager. It's better than xbmc in my opinion for an ftp server. I use filebooster to transfer large files.

If you have a version 1.0-1.5 you can use my cheater drive to fix any errors you have. Just throw my files in your c: and when you restart your xbox it will boot avalaunch. Just make sure you backup your files and have an exploit on E/udata so if the cheater files don't work you'll have a way to ftp back in.

You can download the aid disc and upgrade this way also.
