Today I upgraded to CWF 5.00 M33-4, then I downloaded Monster Hunter Freedom and on the game selection screen the image with information and game name is REVERSED... moreover, the game won't run, it just shows few first screens and then just black screen. It wasn't stuck thoug, I just pressed HOME and exitted the game regularly. Same happened with game called Exit - reversed text and unability to run.
The same thing with the screen text has happened to me, As far as I can tell it is the information image and not the actual background, I have made psx games from my originals and if they work the same as psp games there is a background, an information image, a couple of icons, and a movie and sound file, the overlay is what is being reversed because the wallpapers I have used all stay the same way, the only difference with my games is that I can still run them even though the information image is reversed.
My girlfriend finds it quite amusing but it is driving me mad :z
Shortly after my original post I used Hellcat's Recovery Flasher to downgrade to CFW 3.90 and NO PROBLEM SINCE THEN - no reversed text, no games that refuse to run etc. I have upgraded to 4.01 after that because of certain plugin, but the problems didn't come back.
At certain point I was quite sure the problem was caused by my fake memstick and I think I was probably right. Not sure, though.
I don't know whether I should downgrade, my psp is a slim & lite ta-88 v2 it semi bricked the first time I flashed it using magic mem stick and pandora but like I said the only problem I have is the reversed info picture, im happy you sorted your psp out but I don't really mind the problem I have, like my girl said to me earlier it could have been the whole game in reverse which would have been interesting :)

The good think about Hellcat's Recovery Flasher is you don't need Pandora/MMS... Its just homebrew and there should be any complications IMO, but hey, there is always the small chance it might happen so just don't do it if you're not comfortable with it ;)
It's the small chance that worries me lol, I think I will just leave it as it is, most people i've shown have a laugh over the reversed text any way, thanks for your help :)

You are right! I remember having CXMB installed when the problem was happening... Not sure why though... could be because the theme is Japanese so the text is reversed or something?
