I A Noob and i had the rrod and i wanna get a new dvd drive for it cause i was a disk read error that the xbox was giving me so i need a new disk drive im looking at them on ebay and they say that u need to flash it when u get it i looked up about 5 diffrent ebooks explaning it i still dont get it how do i connect it to my computer i under stand how to flash it i think but how do i connect to my computer in order to flash please help thanks everyone

What make and model drive is it? (Samsung MS28, Hitachi 59DJ, ect.) If it's a MS28 or 59DJ I have a good tut for both.

i dont know i didnt get it yet i ordered it last week should be here monday but do i leave the drive connected to xbox and just plug sata to my computer and then get in to the firmware or what?
