i am a pretty big noob to this modding stuff.all i want to no is if someone can please make a tutorial on how to burn games from there original copy using the pioneer drive 112DBK and make a backup on a verbatim disk

please help

The only drives known to read original xbox 360 games are the Samsung KREON Drives. Just look on eBay for Samsung KREON. KREON isn't a model of the drive, it's a firmware that has been installed to the drive.

Not from the Original only the KREON samsung Drive will do that.

kreon is easiest but not the only way. You can use any standard dvd rom drive if you hotswap from a large movie to a game disc. just kind of a pain in the ass to hotswap. also I think you can use the benq to read and rip also.

Ya there are other ways of making backups, but with the other drives, you can't just simply insert the original and make a backup.

I've done the hotswap method before, and it is a pain in the ass. That way requires a movie disc that is close to 8GB, and requires you taking the top off the drive and swapping.
