I have the iso file, when I burn it with image burn and it gets to 100%, it ejects itself for a split second and goes back in the drive and starts over at 0% and burns again, when that gets to 100% the image burn carribean music plays and sayss the file is burned. My question is that am I getting a bad burn because of that? the game plays but I don't know if its only getting part of the game because I only played them for a few minutes. I have nero essentials, which I don't know how to burn the image for that program. I am using verbatim discs, am I better off using the nero essentials or is the image burn supposed to do that.

Pace,

Your game should be fine. What ImgBurn is doing is verifying the burn. It will open the tray after the burn is complete. Then, close the tray for the verification process.

As long as your ISO was 4.37 GB , you should be just fine!

There is also an option that makes it so that Imgburn does not verify the burnt disc. You do it by unchecking the Verify box on the program during the burning process. Just to let you know since your question has already been answered.

I am using verbatim discs, I was told those are the best to burn wii games, so I haven't tried any other.

Verbatims are indeed one of the best brands to buy for any type of game or movie backup.

Are your .iso files 4.37GB? If not, it is a bad dump or bad download or both.

If your files are 4.37GB, make sure you're burning at 4X or slower. It makes for a better burn.

I think this is going back to being new to the scene. Theres tons of How-To's across this forum and goggle. You need to make sure you're using DVD-R disks, set the speed of the burn to 4x or slower (I always burn at 1x)and play. Catch 22 , you've never mentioned that your system is modded . . . Do you have a modchip or is it softmodded? I'll instantly disregard the softmodded because you're having an issue getting a backup to work properly in the first place. Please provide us with the key facts that we need to help you:

i have a wiikey modchip. bought it from a friend and he told me it was modded.
I have dvd-r discs. verbatim brand.
I will find a game that says the name of the game with "usa-wii" in the title. thats what I was told to do, download it and then utorrent pops up and shows me how fast it's dl-ing. once the dl is complete I select all the files under the name of the game in image burn, insert the disc and then start. once done with that I will put it in the wii and it says it can't read it. hmmm...I have never tried burning at 1x, though. I thought it was as simple as select the game you want, utilize utorrent to dl it, open it up in imageburn, select all the files in the game folder and then click start after changing the burn speed.

you have to extract the ISO from the rar files you download. Then burn the iso with image burn. You highlight all the files and right click and select extract here. Once it completes you'll have a large ISO file that you use to burn your backup.

Redcape...start your own thread if you need help and don't hijack other peoples threads. It makes it confusing to others asking for help as well as the ones trying to help.
