Ok im new to this site, and there's like a million pages all looking the same.. lol, so sorry if this is up already, i just couldn't find it. I'm getting a 2nd xbox 360 just to mess around with, and i was wondering which is the best mod for this so when i play online i don't get banned? I don't do any hardcore gaming online with other people, just my close friends. there's so many stuff out there, which is the best to get. thanks.

OK well what you want to do is a firmware flash on your 360's DVD drive. You flash it with a firmware that is called iXtreme. There is no current mod that will let you avoid the bannings that Microsoft gives out.

aahhh ok, thanks and from what im reading online the newest is 1.4, if im wrong please let me know. Thanks, also, i have no idea about modding consoles, but i can build a computer from scratch, and i haven't bought software for it for years so i know what im doing as far as getting software. This will be my first console mod. :-)

Well at least you are not computer illiterate, that's a start lol.

Google Textbook's Tutorial for Xbox 360 Hacking the 2008 Edition. That should give you info on how to go about opening the 360 and modding it.

yes, thanks I've been reading alot about these things, just wish the damn xbox would come in already got one off ebay with the rrod, so gonna fix that first then mod it and have that one as a "try out game" before i spend freaking 60 or 70 bucks on the new games. :-)
