so i'm looking to get CFW on my kratos red PSP 2001, with OFW 3.90. all i'm waiting for is my tool battery to ship before i create the magic memory stick on my extra 1gig card. after looking at several tutorials around the internet on how to get CFW i see them telling me to put the PSP into USB mode. usualy i take the memory stick out of the system and plug it into my computor with a MS duo adapter that came with it. will this pose a problem?

it might not but i would just follow the tut right to the letter as much as possible. They are created for a reason especailly if this is you first time creating the magic mem stick. I used PSP Pandora Deluxe and a card reader to update my card every now and then.

Phat PSP 1->MS Slot Dead.RIP
PSP SLIM->3.60->3.71->And with a lil bit of MAGIC->3.71M33->3.71M33-2->3.71M33-3->3.90M33->3.90M33-2->4.01M33-2
