hey i looked and looked on afterdawn and google
. i went to flash a benq drive but i lost power and i lost the original file. i have a origianil hitichi drive that i still have all the files for. can and how do i spoof the benq with the hitachi firmware

If you don't have the DVD Key for the Benq drive you are SOL as far ever being able to use that 360 to play games again again. This is why it's said you should make a couple of backups of the firmware and double check them before you actually start the flashing process.

no, you need the original key used on the benq. How did you not create a backup? Didn't you read it off? And even if power cut off while reading, it shouldn't have erased your firmware inside?

it only reads movie dvds non of my backs up or originals work so i am messed up then.

Yep you're screwed. Thats why all of us Senior members try to tell you to do the research yourself. You should've backed up the orig.bin or at the very least the key.
