For some reason tversity is no longer able to start the media server. It has been working fine for months and all the sudden it won't work. I am using Windows XP and a Linksys drt 54g router with ddwrt firmware on it. I open tversity and click start sharing and it pops up the box that says "the tversity media server is already running or the service cannot be started". So I go to the tversity tools in the programs menu and click restarted tversity and it pulls up the command prompt and shows it stop and start the server fine, but the icon is still grey instead of blue! I still have tversity in the router set up with port 41952 as tcpwith my pc's ip address. I have upnp turned on on the router. Please help me!! If you need any more info I will be happy to provide it!

Not sure why tversity is giving problems!!

I had my own issues with it and gave up in the end.

Try using TWONKY, it's very good, you can do a trial for 30days but if you look on the net you can find an open version!! (T***ENT file)
versio 4.4,i'm using it and all works fine.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Tversity. Also, while you were playing around with the router did the feature "filter multicast" appear to be checked on or off? This function must be on for Tversity to work. Instead of trying to start it stop it, then start it. Tversity has given me problems before but I like the program.
