Illegal Pointer Error?

I have TMPGEnc 2.58.44.152 it has worked a couple of times for me, but recently I have been getting the error that says 'Illegal Pointer Error' and everthing stops. I have the priority set to normal and have tried highest, but still get the error. I have tried different avi's but still get the same error? I have the settings just like the ones I found in this forum.
