Lately now my drive has been making alot of noise, it sounds fine going in and out, but when it trys spinnign the disc, it sticks but gets to spinningfull rpm, but when it spins it sounds like a small power tool, when i eject and the disc slows down, it makes scratchy noise when slowing down, then ejects normaly, I have opened the wii before, never took drive off, or apart, i have no modchips installed, or anything soldered on it, and its an old DMS drive, any help? when i get a chance i can take a video of what its been doing.

no but my disc trys to spin and gets stuck, sometimes it goes to full rmp, and other times the drive gives up and stops spinning, i mean it has no probs reading a disc (sometimes) i just want to find a way to make it quiter, i tried relieving pressure off the disc form the little plastic platethat holds the disk down , but then the drive spins adn then stops and doesnt read disc, its a 50/50 chance that i play a game and it crashes.

Either way, racist remarks are unacceptable even if they are in jest.

i have been having more and more problems coming up wiht the wii (system indicator led fell off, wii drive still making noise, and some other stuff so im just cutting my losses and sticking with wat i have. as it is the best option rather tehn continueing and having it break more and more, the reason it broke in some areas was due to some carelessness by me, no one else.
