ok so i am a total noob at all this
i have the wiikey installed by my cousin who lives in Ca
he doesnt know how our problem
recently my little brother updated the wii so he can play smash brothers brawl
the thing is, our wii no longer reads any burned dvds

we have tried searching online and cant find it
or have not come across is yet
we have been searching for a week now
tried the recovery disc

im not sure how that works actually went to the store and bought verbatim dvds and such
loaded the little bugger in and left the recovery dvd for 2 hours after many attempts to leave it in the wii for 5 min., 10 min., and 20 min. (than we all played monopoly and forgot the recovery disc was still in the wii, thats why we left it in there for 2 hours)

i was wondering if i may have a step by step guide to the whole recovery, update, and config dvd thingie to fix our wii

were burning it on imageburn
we found different guides and steps
its either were not following it correctly or its just not working for us

If the games were downloaded or have been altered in any way they may be "trucha signed" and the Wii will no longer read them at the newest firmware. Likely nothing wrong with the WiiKey, although it's possible. If you search this site you will find the main Wiikey thread, I believe it's in the ultimate sticky. Guide's in there.
