no check all your connections are secure ie coaxil into rf in on the box and scart into tv scart on the box.

there is an emu option but unlike the starview,it dosn't need turning on,you can have a look if you like,press menu-preferences-language settings(ok)then 1968 and see if your emulation is set to enable(don't mind emm capture if its on disable).Ignore this then, glad your sorted.
