Which one is better for streaming media from a Macbook to a PS3, Medialink or EyeConnect?

Better question may be, is Eyeconnect worth $50 as compared to Medialink at $20?

Is there any software that's better?

I've been researching this for a couple days and I keep getting conflicting answers, so I thought I'd go straight to the source.

Medialink works all the time eye connect only some of the time or not at all.
