How do I change the psp key tone and font?

I just got a psp off ebay and it had a Hitman theme with gunshots and gun related sounds as the key tone along with a hard to read font. This is for my 10yo nephew. How do I change the psp key tone and font back to its default?

well. its pretty difficult if you dont have the original flash file that was made for the psp you bought...if you upgrade the psp to a higher version, then it will go back to the default version

I'm updating the psp, it goes up to 99%, then goes down 85%, and repeats the process. The AC adapter is plugged in and I don't know what to do. Please Help!

first of all check your firmware...
do this in the psp
settings>psp settings>system information....
and let me know which one you have, and from there ill guide you on what steps to take

It's in the middle of updating and i can't quit it. Its been on for like 10 hours while connected to the charger.

dude, you should have waited for me to try and help you with that...
or are you 100% sure you put everything correctly in the UPDATE folder?

I decided to just shut it off. It wouldn't turn back on so I used pandora battery and now it's at 3.71 M33. My initial problem is fixed but now whenever I try to update it, I get the error FFFFFFFE and I'm forced to shut it off and repeat the process.

try formating your memroy stick...
and you have to get both the custom update, and the official update...
lets say you wanted to upgrade to 5.00m33
you download the 5.00m33 update, and the official sony 5.00 update
