Hi, I got Wii from China and am trying to use Wiifit for the first time. It recognises the CD but when I select the icon the screen just goes black and nothing happens. This is the first real game I have to use on the console, all the others have been copies which came with it. Do I need to do something?

Is your Wii chipped?

I know you have to install a special wad for the board to be recognized.

yes, I have only played copied games on it as well which i received with it.

the game isn't even loading up when i select it, it starts to run and then just gives me a black screen on the TV.

perhaps it's on the wrong settings?? I'm a bit clueless, being honest!!

any help is appreciated.
