Alright well im getting mixed messages all over the place. So it is safe to install HBC 1.0 if you have uptated to 3.3 (or 3.4?) I have a Wiikey 1.9s NTSC-U 3.3 NO TWILIGHT HACK. I would prefer to use the .iso but its only beta 8 on the site? does this mean i have to install the twilight hack?

All i want to do is play animal crossing! lol! maybe ill just buy it...

You can't use the ISO installer if you have 3.3/3.4 firmware. You need 3.2 or below and a Modchip to use the ISO installer.

You can go HERE and download all files that you need to install the Homebrew Channel on a 3.3/3.4 firmware Wii.

You will need...

the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1.tar.gz

"3.3 and earlier: twilight-hack-v0.1-beta1.zip"

Extract the "the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1.tar.gz" file and put the boot.dol file on in the root of the SD card.

Extract the TP Hack and place the private folder in the root of the SD Card.

Now run the TP hack and it will start the Hombrew Channel Installer.

The Oct 23rd 3.3 update and 3.4 will limit homebrew capabilities. WAD/cIOS files will no longer be able to be installed. You can however follow this guide HERE and perform the first 3 steps to get the WAD/cIOS instillation capabilities back. You do not need to downgrade to 3.2 but if you want after performing the first 3 steps you can follow the 4th step to downgrade the Wii to 3.2 firmware.

Help!

I downloaded the 3.3 or below version as you said, but it gives me the message "Failed to read boot.elf (-1)! No code found to load, hanging.

I thought this could read boot.dol!

Help?
