Use ABGX360 for stealth checks! The database moved.. make sure you have newest .ini. Mulleter No longer supported

Hmmm, is the abgx360 database still alive? I haven't been able to verify any new games released in the last couple of months. I have the latest version, replaced all the info in the ini with what was posted in this thread, I have it check for updates, and have it set to autofix level 3.
Someone said earlier that the region free allstars version of prince of persia passes through abgx360, but I'm still getting a 404 from abgx360 on grabbing the ini for it. Same with the new LOTR Conquest and Skate 2 (which I know has only been available in NTSC on usenet for a couple days). Every game I've gotten through usenet before November has all gone through abgx360 just fine, maybe it's just a coincidence or I could have some settings incorrect somewhere?

Crap, I was wrong, I'm not getting 404s. . . I'm getting these same errors no matter what now after it grabs the .ini:
"failed to find a DMI CRC in xxxx.ini"
"failed to find a valid SS CRC in xxxxx.ini"
Any ideas? I've been using the same settings for months and had no problems with older games.

Same here! I made the changes to the .ini as per the post, and just about every game I try fails with that 404 error. If i remember correctly, some of the ones that fail now passed with the old ini...
Also, Kreon drives (using XBC) make clean backups that require no scanning right?

If you visit one of the links in the new ini file, it comes up with a page that says: -
"This account has been suspended.
Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible."
Perhaps that's why everyone's getting 404 errors.

yep seems to be a problem... just trying to validate my skate 2 copy ... it is getting redirected and as such it can't verify anything ...
hopefully they will fix it and get everything working soon .. . .

Edit: I use a sammy ms25 drive for backups flashed with xtrm0800 firmware.

I have abgx 360 set to AutoFix level 3 and this is what I get when I try to verify a game (all other checks pass):
Starting AutoFix
Attempting to get 'xxxxxxxx.ini' from the online verified database
ERROR: Failed to find a valid SS CRC in 'xxxxxxxx.ini'
AutoFix Failed, Stealth is still unverified
Those are old games that have been around for over a year. They pass all abgx 360 checks except that one. They also pass all mulleter checks, including CRC Checking/Autofix.
Does anyone know what's going on and if those games are safe to play? (The torrents themselves are listed on abgx.net and reported as safe but I don't know if that's sufficient or if I still need to do the Level 3 Autofix.

The abgx360 database is down right now so it cannot check against the online database. Dont know when it will be back up. You can check the status by logging into the irc channel.

go into the directory C:\Program Files\abgx360\StealthFiles
delete the .ini file you have in quotes there... 'xxxxxxxx.ini'
this will force it to download the correct .ini file. the DB is definitely back up i just checked it ...

Thanks Donaldo, now I just get the 404 error though when it tries to find that .ini for the allstars region free prince of persia. Maybe I'll try a different copy.
The NTSC Skate 2 did get verified at least though, since the database has come back up.

Why is it necessary to patch dl'd games and not Kreon made games? What do they do differently?

Awesome, deleting the .ini that abgx360 said it couldn't use to fix the image and letting it redownload it during the autofix did the trick! Thanks a bunch.

any way i can do this for all games. like can i just delete all of the .ini or are there some i have to keep.

yes that is correct but look at the error you are getting... its a 404 which means Not Found... it is a valid response for a game that is not in the ABGX database...
therefore your game can't be stealth checked or verified .... it's likely not in the database cause they don't consider it a proper image of the game...
you should try to find a release from a different group.

Ok, makes sense. Thanks for the Heads up. Wierd...I have 3 games giving me the same error. I have 3 bin (Im assuming stealth files) for one of the games. Is there a way I can apply them manually or should I even bother?

BoyOneder, if you are not ripping your own DVDs then I would not even touch a game that isn't verified with abgx360 unless you want to increase your risk of getting banned.
