Okay first of all, delete the firmware and Loader GTRom 4.03 that you have on your PC and download another of each from Eamo's FTA Library, I presume it is the 4.55 that you are trying right?

Now when you downloaded have you saved them to your desktop, the 4.55 Bin file and the GTRom 4.03, and have you extracted the 4.55 Bin.

Now that is correct, make sure that App File Only box is checked and if the Adaptor is correctly assigned then it should flash your box, if not then the Adaptor is not correctly assigned or you have got an incorrect lead, so try it now. Press Download.

If the percentage did not move at all off 0% and you got flash failed after about 40 seconds, then your box is NOT being detected. so check the connections of the NULL MODEM lead and also the Adaptor, and then try again to see if is is detected, hold the leads firmly in place by hand if possible.

It does look that way, because everything that you have followed is absolutely correct, and it definately is NOT recognising your box, so have you looked here as regards your COMM port, to make sure, because they are an absolute pain to be honest, >>>>>>>>>

Well that is all you can do for the minute, it is not making any contact at all with the box mate, so best try it on a standalone PC if you can, any friends with one that you can take the box to and try there, preferably without the Adaptor, (but it should be okay if you have it correctly assigned) but as said try it that way.
