Hi people,
basically i've read loads of posts but dont think have found the answer i need for homebrew channel.
i have a d2ckey installed and want to add homebrew channel.
from my understandin i need to use twilight hack to install homebrew channel.
I dont have original zelda game but i have downloaded a zelda game save.
could i use the game save to help me install the homebrew.

Someone here must know the answer please kindly help me with my mission thanks in advance!!!

The hack is in the game and uses the save file to redirect output, so you do NEED THE GAME for the Twilight Hack.

There are ways around this if you have firmware 3.2 or lower, however I was at 3.4 when I needed the hack and there is no way around this as of yet.

You can rent the game if you have that option, that's what I did. Not a huge fan of Zelda so I can't see throwing money away for this game.

thanks for the info mate, does it matter wot version the game is....i read somewhere they changed the hack after finding people were using the xploit bit like the psp hack with gta i.e. the later version of the game didnt work with the exploit, i could b wrong please if u could clarify it would be great!!
would a backup of the game work just as well??

If you have a Modchip then yes a backup of the game will work.

How you install and what version TP hack you will use to install the HBC depends on what firmware your Wii has.

What firmware version do you have on a Wii?
