Xbox computer cant connect!

Hi, my xbox wont connect to my computer to play music of windows media player, its connected by a ethernet cable which goe's from the router to my xbox, it shows the songs that i have on my computer but it wont let me play them, i've tried all the media sharing settings on windows media player, but i dont know were to go with this now. Please help.

are you using the media extender? or just going through the music tab and then selecting computer?

also your router might not be setup for the IGMP proxy which allows media and game sharing long range. (360 - router - IGMP - PC)

depending on what router you have i can guide you through it step by step.

so if ya want advice on it or you want me to help you with the proxy then just reply to this
