hi all, i have bought myself a wii and would like to modchip it with a solderless modchip

i would like 2 know wich chip to get and with one is recomended please

my wii is (rvl-001)(eur)

While you havent given NEARLY enough information for us to know what chipset your wii is, I would still recommend a wiikey2 with a wiiclip. A wiicliped D2Pro would be fine as well. Both those chips are compatible with any wii chipset and with a wiiclip both are also solderless.

what information do i need to give mate i'm new to the wii modding done plenty of 360's before

do i have to open the wii to give you the chip number and stuff

right i have decided to go with the wiikey v2 solderless

now before i buy i would get this one here

now i have wached the video on how to take the wii apart (easy enough)

also have watched the video on installing the wiikey v2 solderless

and on the video there is a protective wiikey cover for both top and bottom of the chip will i get thease if i order that wiikey above cheers in advance

also if anyone knows if they can get it any cheaper let me know i am in the uk (england)
