about selling a modded wii

im selling my modded wii locally, but nobody seems to want it, i've been thinking about selling it on ebay but you can't list it as modded, but if somebody buys it then does a update wrong or something and breaks it not knowing a modchip is in it and comes back to me complaining i have a whole nother problem, any1 have a solution?

There really isn't one that I know of.
Unless you find some back ally forum to post it on, it's probably not going to happen.
Your best bet is to find a friend that wants it because anything else puts you at risk for being caught.

well honestly I have yet to see an update mess up the system to make it unplayable but rather just close more security loop holes, If the buyer has no idea the system has been modded then chances are they will never know unless they try themselves, and if by any chances something were to happen most likely would be after the alloted time they had to give feedback and in most cases they will have already given you positive by the time they recived it or better yet you could just send some burnt games with it and I'm sure they would get the hint and I coulnt see why anyone would complain about that..

Did you try Craigslist? If you live near a big city I'd think it would be pretty easy to sell depending on what you're asking for it.

put it up with a bunch of stuff for $300, i got an offer but she backed out because she wanted a v2 wiikey

Clever...
I purchased my unit on eBay already modded. I have seen many on ebay that don't state they are modified but come with games not listed for "obvious reasons" and request a email from you should you want more information.
