Hi guys, some of u may be aware that boxes have gone down in Waterford. I got up this morning after receiving a couple of msgs about this and guess what... my box was also "updating".
I have an SV4 with beta 1.05 on it and it did update after about 6 secs but anyone else that has The Box or Box Super seem to be stuck on "updating".
Does anyone have any more info on this or will the the other boxes require manual input or software updates?
Thanks in advance.

A few posts about various regions, as regards the updating so it's a waiting game all though there is some conflicting as regards updating, and the cause etc, major being work carried out, hopefully nothing more. >>>>>>

most boxes r updating now but some may still need manual input. as malci said, lets just play the waiting game and hope its only just some work being carried out and nothing more.
BTW, im not tryin to start a scare but where i work, N*l have an office and the guys there, whom i know personally, have said that there will be some code changing going on but they were told it would be in the new year, maybe they have started early.
Also. i think its worth mentioning that any 1 i know wit a box and N*L broad band have experienced intermittent internet access during the day.
Not sure if its related but who knows!!

Hey axxxo,
fair enough bout de "works needin to be done" an all that but u know how it is... as soon as somethin flicks on de screen, codes change or whatever, regular peeps just panic and expect the worst!!
I was the same when I got my 1st box believin that signals could be sent down cables and all that crap!!!
But hey, we live and learn. lol
