Fitting an x-clamp this morning, and have mananged to take about 1cm off one track next to one of the clamps.

Results in 3 red lights, but no power on (Fan spins, then shuts off, but lights keep flashing)

Best method to fix this? (Could I use a track pen?)

In the middle of each clamp should be a small black plastic pieces, which prevent the actual clamp from touching the capacitors on the board causing multiple short circuits, if that has come off, then thats why you get it on for a split second and then it turns off. Make sure this plastic piece is still on the clamp.
