My new Eurovox PVR arrived today and i have nearly been driven around the twist trying to get all the channels, so far the most i can get is 75 which means i am missing about 20 channels that i am able to pick up on my starview 3. I am in dunboyne on i think n*l dublin and i am getting most of the channels perfect but i am missing some of the important ones like setanta sports 1 and sky sports xtra.
I have updated to the latest firmware, tried the dublin n*l channel dump, scanned all sorts of variations, changing the step to 6, 7 and 8, with 8 giving me the most channels(75), i'm using 6.887 symbol rate. I am scaning the range of 290.00 to 420.00 that i read in a guide on here.
So far these are the frequencies i am picking up:
290.000
306.000
322.000
338.000
354.000
370.000
386.000
It shouldn't be a signal prob i reckon cause my starview picks up the missing channels connected to the same cable input. Also i'm not using any sort of spliter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And double check where your cable is it should be into the RF input socket.

ok double checked its in the right slot, surely if it was in the wrong one i wouldn't be seeing any channels.
I have also already tried a factory reset and done another power scan no joy, thats also the guide i was following already, i have most of the channels just not all of them like i said above, i am missing a few of the best ones, like setanta sports 1 and sky sports extra both of which are on my starview when i plug it in the same connection.

nevermind its fixed now, what i needed was to change my firmware to version released on the 1st of December, that introduced the ability to Deep scan which found the missing channels.
